As Ramadan is nearing up, Muslims in Washington D.C are preparing to greet this spiritual month. At RamadanTips.com, we love to contribute to Washington Muslim community by sharing a Ramadan fasting calendar for the year 2023.

The timetable helps Muslims to keep track of the time for the pre-dawn meal (suhoor), evening meal (iftar) for whole Ramzan month.

Here is the schedule for Sunni, Hanafi. For Ahl-e-Tashi community, Sehri time closes 10 minutes earlier and Iftar time start 10 minutes later. Table is also available in PDF format.

About the City

Washington (District of Columbia) is capital of the United States of America. The city is named for the first president of the county George Washington. Dialing code is 202. It is the most visited city of the US. The city is located on the northern bank of the Potomac River at the borders of Maryland and Virginia states.

The city has a population of 680,000 people. You will find a big number of famous American museums and tourism places in the city. Washington also homes headquarters of many national and international organizations, including the The Humane Society of The United States, The National Society of Collegiate Scholars, National Parks Conservation Association as well as United Nations.

Washington D.C.’s economy is largely based on government jobs and services. However, the city has been working to diversify its economy in recent years and now has a growing technology and startup scene. The city is also home to many universities and colleges, which contribute to its economy.
